Aragaki Yui (新垣結衣) is a Japanese actress, singer, model, and gravure idol. She started out as a model after seeing an audition notice for the junior fashion magazine "nicola". She applied and won the Grand Prix award, and became a Nicomo ("nicola" model) and gained many fans because of her fashion sense and logical personality. In 2004, Aragaki put her modeling in nicola on hold to expand her career into gravure, appearing on variety shows, and acting. In 2005, she officially graduated from the magazine. That same year, she was in the TBS dorama, Dragon Zakura and continued appearing in doramas since then.

On December 5, 2007, Aragaki released her debut album entitled "Sora", which debuted at #3 on the charts and charted 11 weeks, selling 133,086 copies. She released her debut single the following year, on July 16, 2008.
